Planning & fitting
Plan your floor
Work out how many tiles your room needs, then see how each format goes down.
Tile counter
How many tiles?
Enter the room size. The plan shows full tiles, and the tiles that will be cut to fit at the edges. The figures below are an example room.
Tile size
The count includes every tile that will be cut at the walls. Rolls (1 m × 10 m) are not counted here. Send us your room size and we'll check the quantity of tiles or rolls with you.
Fitting
How each format goes down
500 × 500 mm tiles
Glued down
These tiles are glued to the floor. Ask us which adhesive to use for the floor you have.
1 m × 1 m tiles
Buckled together
These tiles have a buckle on the underside that joins each tile to the next. The top edges are straight, so the finished floor shows clean, straight seams.
Rolls
Ask us
Tell us about the space and we'll advise how to lay a roll there.
Before you order
Tell us five things
With these, we can recommend the right tile and work out the quantity for you.
Room size
Length and width in metres. A sketch helps if the room isn't rectangular.
What happens on the floor
Stretching, home training, a commercial gym, heavy lifting, or a mix.
The floor you have now
Concrete, ceramic tiles, timber or something else.
Which storey
Ground floor, or upstairs where sound and vibration matter more.
Colour you like
Plain black, or one of the flecked colourways.
Send us your room
We'll come back with the format, thickness and quantity that suit it.
